Good Dog Carl by Alexandra Day
1/19/09 We just love our boy -- his name is Norman.  Carl has a constant playmate and he seems to love it.  Carl is teaching him well and they make a great pair.  We took them both for a long walk tonight and he just heels and walks along nicely.  He just wants to be the best boy ever, we think.  He fits in so well with us.  When we took Norman to the vet for his check up, the vet was so impressed and talked about what a well-bred puppy he was -- well we already knew that!  Thank you again for raising such a sweetheart and meeting us in Butte.  Happy New Year!

11/30/08  Hi Carolyn, Teal Boy is just the perfect puppy.  He was so sweet all the way home and I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road!  He is right at home here and slept in Carter's room last night.  In the AM, he barked and we let him out and he did his business.  He is so well behaved -- just wanting to be part of our family.  We are still working on a name and I promise I will take pictures -- how couldn't I??  Thank you for raising such a sweetheart -- we just love him.  Joy

Teal boy is energetic right up to the point he's in your arms, where he snuggles right in and laps at your chin.  He has become quite accomplished at listening well to the commands sit, shake, and down and is well on his way to the more advanced roll over and/or play dead.  He has become a bit of a fluffy mop and bath time shows Teal's true volume.  Like his mom, he often sleeps stretched out on his belly, on whatever cool spot he can find.  Teal boy was selected as a playmate & best buddy by Carl the rottweiler and his family from Missoula, Montana.  We look forward to updates on Teal's official name, educational repertoire and maybe a photo of him & Carl in action.
