Maggie, Puppy 8, Rainbow Girl
Maggie has chosen new owners Sofie and Eric and her letters will be postmarked Miles City,
Montana, a town full of outdoor adventure
on the shores of the Yellowstone River.
As of summer 2011, Maggie and Luna have relocated to Missoula, Montana, a collegiate town with
remarkable "culchaw" and infinite growth potential for any labradoodle.  Just watch out for any grizzlies :)

I just had to send this picture off.  Maggie is such a happy, goofy girl.  I think she jumped a tad higher than necessary in order to clear the log.

Maggie is doing great.  She weighs 58 pounds, averages about 20 miles per week with me and usually goes on part of my long run, up to about 10 miles.  She does beautifully.  She is definitely Eric's girl though.  She worships him.  Still has her sock obsession.  She steals them every chance she gets and checks everyone's shoes for socks stuck in them.  The other day before laundry I collected 8 stolen socks...and we only live in a 400 square foot apartment.  That's a lot of socks!  She sleeps in bed nearly every night with us and seldom stays in her crate when we are gone from home anymore.  She's pretty trustworthy at home these days.  We always say Luna's our entertainment and Maggie is perfect.  She really is just about perfect.  She is by far the gentlest sweetest pup I've ever known.  She has grown up to have the build of a lab, stocky body, thick chest, wide head, with beautiful little blonde curls everywhere.
Thank you for the two best pups we could ever ask for...we are truly blessed to have these two crazy doodles.

2/22 and 2/12/10 Maggie is a happy dog!  (and a busy dog with her little sister, Luna)

1/04/09 She's getting big so fast and turning into such a sweetie more and more each day.  She is super smart and learns everything quickly.  Here's a few pictures of her having fun chasing the cat and playing in the snow.  We love her tons.

12/01/08  Hello, just an update on Maggie.  She went to the vet today for her 2nd set of shots and weighs 22 pounds.  She's getting big and getting some super long legs on her.  She went to Missoula for Thanksgiving to visit my sister, her fiance, and their 1.5 year old dalmation, Buddy.  She and buddy are now good friends ... I think.  Buddy sure liked her.  She wasn't sure what to think of him at first, but after a day and a half, she was wrestling with him and stealing his toys.  She went hiking and met 4 new dogs, a new cat and 6 new people.  She had a big week and was pretty tired by the end of it.  Here's some pictures of her trip.

pup8.10fpup8.10cpup8.10apup8.10b11/11/0 Hello, just thought I'd send you a quick update on Maggie, "Rainbow Girl".  She's sleeping right now so I've got a few minutes to send some pictures.  Maggie is doing great.  She's such a sweetie and everyone here loves her.  Still a major cuddler too.  She's super smart pup8.10eand is already sitting, laying, and walking fairly well on a leash.  She's crate trained and getting closer to house trained; only 3 accidents so far.  She's been a super calm puppy, with her energy bursts lasting about 30 minutes attime and then she crashes.  And she still hasn't gottenpup8.10d swatted by the cat ....but she's lucky since she does like to torment him a bit.  Thank you again, Maggie is a doll and we love her.
  Take Care,
Sofie and Eric
