Oaklie, Puppy 5, Lavender Girl sold on 11/17/08
12/15/08 Oaklie is doing great, and we are having so much fun together!  We went on a road trip to Missoula last weekend with her, and she loves riding in the car.  She is having her second round of shots tomorrow afternoon.  She goes to puppy play time each week at the veterinarian's office, and we have taken her to puppy day care few times, so she can meet new friends.  She has quickly become used to meeting new people and going new places, and she gets excited everytime she goes to the vet!  She is such a great dog, and we couldn't be happier with her!  Here are some more pics of our Oaklie.  Take care!

11/19/08 Hi Carolyn: Here are some pictures of our sweet little girl!  Her name is Oaklie.  S he is  settling in very well, and hasn't cried too much.  We are keeping her pretty busy with walks, playing in the yard, and even a trip to PetSmart!  We are trying to crate train her, and she seems to be doing pretty well with it; whines for just a bit, and then settles right down.  She enjoys relaxing in her little portable "bedroom."  For her second round of shots, she did very well.  There were other dogs in the waiting area, and it was the first time we heard her bark!  Very cute.  She thought she was pretty tough!  Thank you again for everything!  Oaklie is an amazing little girl -- very laid back and very loving!  She is a cuddler, and we are enjoying every minute with her.  We will be in touch with more pictures and more updates.  Have a great week!     Kellie and Jason

Oaklie took on mostly labrador traits, with a smooth silky coat.  She is very eager to please, comes running when called, and is a snuggler.  She loves eye contact and nose contact.  Her coat shouldn't  need grooming, but how much will she ultimately shed?  We look forward to updates from this Lavender girl and her active Billings couple, who took the puppy plunge.  They anticipate training her to be a well-rounded city dog, country dog and maybe even a bit of a hunter.  Oaklie should be a natural.
